Israeli TV airs recording allegedly of Netanyahu meddling in telecommunications market

Israel's Channel 13 TV network airs a recording purportedly of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu attempting to meddle in the country's telecommunications market.

According to Channel 13, the recording from late 2017 is of the prime minister yelling at his then-communications minister, Ayub Kara, over efforts to award Channel 20 a license to broadcast news and dismantling the cable and satellite body opposed to the move.
