Syria condemns Turkish-American patrols in north of country

A source in the Syrian Foreign Ministry told the Syrian news agency Sana on Sunday that Damascus strongly condemns US-Turkish patrols in the north of the country and raised allegations of violation of international law.

“The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms launching joint patrols by the US administration and the Turkish regime in the Syrian Al-Jazeera region in a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic," said the source.

The source called this "an aggression which aims to complicate and prolong the crisis in Syria."
