President Rivlin backs AG in row over security cameras at polling stations

President Rivlin issued a statement on Sunday condemning the political attacks on the Central Elections Committee and Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit on the issue of placing security cameras at polling stations.

“I stand with the members of the Central Elections Committee and its chair Vice-President of the Supreme Court Judge Hanan Melcer and with AttorneyGeneral Avichai Mandelblit, who face unsubstantiated and even irresponsible political attacks at present,” said Rivlin.
