Liberman comes out against security cameras at polling stations

None

Yisrael Beytenu leader Avigdor Liberman criticized Sunday morning a newly approved bill to place security cameras at polling stations promoted by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying the bill is meant to distract the public.

"Netanyahu is trying to distract the public and run away from the truth," said the former defense minister. "He is comfortable talking about cameras in the Arab sector, but he would never talk about cameras in the ultra-Orthodox sector. The oversight must be done by the state and not by a Netanyahu's private militia."
