IDF says rocket launch detected from Gaza, but no projectiles reported on Israeli territory

Israeli military said a rocket launch from the Gaza Strip was detected on Wednesday evening, but the projectile did make it into Israeli territory, presumably landing somewhere in the enclave.
Earlier, rocket alert sirens sounded in the Eshkol Regional Council, an Israeli community bordering the Strip.
