Public security minister: 'Surge in anti-Semitism due to BDS'

None

Minister of Public Security and Strategic Affairs Gilad Erdan blamed Thursday the surge in anti-Semitic incidents across Europe on the anti-Israeli BDS movement.

Erdan presented on a meeting in berlin with German Interior minister Horst Seehofer a report that says that the BDS campaign is anti-Semitic and that the rise in anti-Semitic incidents "is closely linked to the incitement and lies that BDS organizations are spreading against Israel".

According to the Arden's staff, Seehofer said in the meeting that the security of the State of Israel and its existence as a Jewish state are "one of the foundations of Germany".
