PM calls on Arab citizens to cooperate with law enforcement moves

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urges Israel's Arab citizens to cooperate with efforts to combat the high level of violence in the community

“The changes that we are making here are on behalf of all citizens of Israel, Jewish and non-Jewish alike. We are investing greatly in the non-Jewish sector, this is unprecedented – NIS 15 billion, in order to close gaps and provide infrastructure," Netanyahu said during a Rosh Hashanah toast for staff at his office.

"I call from here – inter alia – on the Arab public to cooperate with one basic infrastructure in which we are investing, which did not exist – police stations in Arab communities, enforcing the law in Arab communities," he said.
