The Supreme Planning Council - a body that is part of the Civil Administration - on Thursday approved construction of some 182 housing units in the Jordan Valley.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last month promised to annex the territory, which makes up about one-fourth of the West Bank, if he was to win the September 17 elections.
