Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Jordan will postpone transfer of Israeli enclave in six months

Foreign Ministry officials said that Jordan would delay the transfer of the Tzofar enclave to its hands by another agricultural season (between five and seven months).
Last year, Jordanian King Abdullah announced that he does not intend on extending the validity of an appendix to the 1994 peace treaty with Israel, according to which the territory would continue to be under Israeli sovereignty.
The territories are scheduled to return to Jordan's control on October 25.
