Lavrov: Conflict in NE Syria allowed IS militants to spread across the world

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Wednesday the conflict in northeast Syria has allowed Islamic State militants to spread out around the world and European countries bear responsibility for this, the Interax news agency reports.

He said Russia would help set up communication betwen the Syrian adnd Turkish leadership "to ensure security" on their shared border.
