Tel Aviv's mayor slams ultra-Orthodox demand to block Shabbat transport legislation

Tel Aviv's mayor, Ron Huldai, on Thursday slammed the demand of the ultra-Orthodox parties to block any legislative initiative that would allow public transportation on Shabbat, as a condition for joining a coalition.
"The fight over transportation is heating up. Blue and White, it's up to you to take care of," Huldai wrote in his Twitter account.
