Qatari envoy arrives in Gaza to oversee distribution of monthly aid money

The Qatari envoy to the Gaza Strip Mohammed Al-Emadi arrived overnight Thursday in Gaza alongside his deputy Khaled Al-Khardan to oversee the distribution of the monthly aid money given out to Gazans by Qatar.

On this visit, Al-Emadi is expected to monitor the progress of projects funded by the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of the Gaza Strip - the most notable is the establishment of a power line from Israel to the Gaza Strip using international funding.
