Suspicion: Likud officials harass witness in PM's corruption case

Likud Campaign Manager Ofer Golan was questioned by police over the past weekend on suspicion of harassing a witness in Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's corruption case, known as Case 4000, Shlomo Filber last August.

It is suspected that Golan and two other campaign officials sent a car fitted with speakers to Pilber's home, blasting hateful comments at the witness.

Case 4000 involves the communication conglomerate Bezeq. The investigation is checking whether there were relations between members of Netanyahu's staff and high end officials at Bezeq, and if there were falsehoods in regards to paperwork leading to favorable business dealings with said officials as well as possible favorable reporting to Netanyahu by news site Walla!.
