Israel makes headlights on highways during day compulsory

Drivers in Israel will from Friday have to turn on their headlights on inter-urban roads during the day as well as in hours of darkness.

The Transportation Ministry regulation applies to all vehicles.

Buses, lorries and taxis will have to turn on their headlights on urban roads during daylight hours as well. All two-wheelers must also use lights at all hours of the day.
