Elkin: 'U.S. withdrawal from Paris agreement will not lead us to do the same'

The Minister for Environmental Protection Ze'ev Elkin stated on Tuesday that Israel will not withdraw from the Paris agreement following Trump's announcement of withdrawal from the agreement.
"The U.S. decision to withdraw from the Paris agreement will not lead to us to do the same", said the minister. "Israel attributes great importance to the battle against climate change and sees itself as obligated to such a commitment".
