Blue and White leader MK Benny Gantz said on Friday that he is considering possible alternatives for establishing a government in case negotiation talks with Likud reach a dead-end.
"We are currently examining additional alternatives in case negotiation talks with Likud don't bear any fruit," said the former IDF chief. "I fear that Likud are not interested in reaching a true agreement as warranted by the election results".
Those who refuse to relinquish a devitalizing and debilitating bloc (referring to Likud's right-wing bloc, which includes nationalistic and ultra-Orthodox parties) and refuse to profoundly discuss outlines to a future government – are not really interested in establishing a government".
It seems that the Likud Chairman (Prime Minister) Benjamin Netanyahu had decided to drag Israel into elections for a third time".
