IDF declares enclave closed military area before return to Jordan

IDF declared the Tzofar enclave a closed military area on Sunday as Israel prepares to hand the territory back under Jordanian rule.
However, Tamar Regional Council security officer said the gate to the enclave is open and the entrance of farmers is allowed.
The territory, that was under Israeli rule for more than 70 years, but under Jordanian sovereignty, will be returned to the Jordanians under the peace agreements signed in 1994.
