Israel calls for Security Council to condemn rocket attacks on Israel

Israeli ambassador to the UN Danny Danon called on the Security Council to condemn Islamic Jihad's rocket attacks on Israel.

"Nine million civilians are under unacceptable attack from terrorist organizations. We expect a clear and unequivocal condemnation from the Security Council."

Danon said and added he hoped the message from the United Nations would not be for a call for restraint from both sides.

"It is time for the international community to understand that it's silence is a reward for terror" the ambassador added.
