Iran condemned on Monday what it has described as U.S. support for "a group of rioters" after deadly violence in several Iranian cities flared up due to rising gas prices.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry "condemns these interventionist remarks," said an official statement released on Monday in response to a message from U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo who expressed on Twitter the support of Washington to the "Iranian people."
