IDF warns Hamas ahead of renewal of Gaza border protests on Friday

Israeli military on Thursday warned Hamas ahead of the renewal of border protests in the Gaza Strip, suspended for the past three weeks.
"There is an understanding that Hamas is behind it and we are ready,” said the ID Spokesperson’s Unit in a statement. “We will respond with restraint if there won’t be any skirmishes along the fence,” it said.
The military added that if some of the protesters would be wounded by IDF fire, Hamas should be held accountable.
