Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Thursday he had ordered the withdrawal of Venezuela's ambassador in Israel.
Chavez, a vocal critic of the US Government, has condemned Israeli incursions into Gaza and Lebanon, and frequently expresses support for the Palestinian people. (Reuters)
