Italian citizen stabbed in East Jerusalem

A tourist who was stabbed in East Jerusalem, near Herod's gate in the Old City, was a 24 year old Italian citizen who had come to Israel for a visit at the beginning of August. The Italian consulate was notified.
The police reported that the investigation surrounding the incident is still under way. (Efrat Weiss)
