Iraq's most wanted man Abu Musab al-Zarqawi has been wounded, his al-Qaeda front group said on its website, as insurgent attacks left eight US soldiers and dozens of Iraqis dead over a 48-hour period. The Jordanian-born Zarqawi, who has a 25-million-dollar US bounty on his head, is reputed to be behind some of the deadliest insurgent attacks in Iraq and for the grisly execution of hostages. (AFP)
