Israel-Jordan Peace Treaty
None
Israel and Jordan signed a formal peace treaty on October 26, 1994. Although the two countries had long maintained some level of warm relations, although in secret, the treaty was made possible by Israel's signing of the Oslo Accords with the Palestinians.
The treaty called for minor changes to the borders between the two countries and for Israel to guarantee a supply of water to Jordan.
