A Syrian news Web site reported Monday that former Syrian Vice President Abdul-Halim Khaddam and his family have a fortune of USD 1.1 billion.
Khaddam linked President Bashar Assad to the murder of former Lebanese premier Rafik Hariri in a televised interview with al-Arabiya television from his Paris residence. (Roee Nahmias)
