Anan: Create a corridor for humanitarian aid to Lebanon

UN Secretary-General Kofi Anan called for an immediate ceasefire in Lebanon, in order to facilitate humanitarian aid to the country and allow for a diplomatic opportunity to create calm.
In the absence of a ceasefire, Anan said that a corridor must be created in order to provide humanitarian assistance to Lebanon. (Yitzhak Ben-Horeen, Washington)
