War in north: NIS 2 billion in damages to small businesses in region
Small businesses in the Haifa area the north have sustained financial damages estimated at NIS 2 billion (roughly USD 450 million) since the beginning of the fighting with Hizbullah.
The businesses lose an average of NIS 200 million (roughly USD 45 million) on each day of fighting, but it is yet unclear whether the government plans to compensate them for their losses. (Tani Goldstein)
