Sources in the Attorney General's office said on Wednesday that the Israeli public opinion will decide whether Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Dan Halutz should resign for selling his shares portfolio hours after a Hizbullah cross-border attack that triggered a 34-day war.
The office issued a statement saying that the issue will not be probed by judicial authorities in response to an inquiry by National Union-NRP MK Zevulun Orlev. (Aviram Zino)
