ZDVO appeals for help for IDF disabled veterans
Zahal Disabled Veterans Fund sends out emergency appeal through its website with hope to increase awareness toward its life long commitment to help Israel's war veterans, victims of terror in their life long struggle for rehabilitation
The Zahal Disabled Veterans Fund (ZDVF) raises funds in the Diaspora for the purpose of building, developing and maintaining the organization's facilities, the Beit Halochem Centers in Tel-Aviv, Haifa and Jerusalem, for the welfare and rehabilitation of Israel's more than 50,000 disabled war veterans.
"In honor of IDF Soldiers in Lebanon 2006" is the dedication that came along with a donation, one of many received through ZDVO website this past week, from concerned Jews around the world.
For more than a year now ZDVO has been running an image, content and news website www.zdvo.org which serves its many friends around the world.
During the past four weeks of the war in Lebanon there has been a rise in support for ZDVO and its many new members, in recognition and of the dear price they have had to pay for their brave and loyal struggle for Israel's security and independence.
In the past week the organization sent out an emergency appeal through its various friends, organizations and committees, as well as a direct emergency appeal in the English language through its website with the hope that these will help increase awareness toward its life long commitment to help Israel's war veterans and victims of terror in their life long struggle for rehabilitation.
