Khatami: Iran supports Palestinian state alongside Israel
Former Iranian President Mohammad Khatami said in an interview to the Financial Times that Iran supports the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel, on the condition Hamas ageees to this.
Khatami said that he believes Hamas has already stated it is willing to have a state alongside Israel as long as the Palestinians' rights are respected. (AFP)
