Palestinian sources reported Sunday evening that a 14-year-old teen was killed and his 19-year-old relative was wounded after an Israeli tank shell landed near a group of Palestinians in the southern Gaza town of Rafah. The head of the Rafah hospital, Ali Musa, identified the killed teen as Jihad Abu Snaimah
The IDF said that "the IDF forces that operated in the area of Dahaniya as part of an offensive against terror in the southern region of the strip, had identified two Palestinians whom they suspected of planting explosives and had fired a tank shell at them."
Previously, Palestinian sources reported that the IDF went 400 meters inside Palestinian territory in the south Gaza Strip.
Earlier, a Palestinian was injured during an incident next to a refugee camp in Nablus. Palestinians hurled stones towards the IDF, and in response the force shot at one of the Palestinians and injured him.
