Rav Ovadia Yossef checked into Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem after feeling unwell. Rav Yossef decided to go to the hospital on the recommendation of his doctor, Dr. Yohanan Shtasman, who estimated he has a virus. He went to the hospital in his own car accompanied by Minister of Industry, Trade, and Labor Eliyahu Yishai.
Ten days ago, Rav Yossef was released from the hospital after undergoing angioplasty. (Neta Sela)
