Moyal: Not crybabies

Dozens of Sderot residents took to the streets Thursday evening to protest the ineptitude of the Israeli government as a Qassam rocket hit a city square
and caused a blackout in surrounding neighborhoods.
Several religious groups who were planning to celebrate the eve of Hoshana Raba in the area also joined in the protests. A short time later, all residents of the city were ordered to remain indoors for fear of more attacks since the warning system was also disabled due to the loss of electric power to the area.
Sderot Mayor Eli Moyal, who was at the time attending a rally in Jerusalem calling for a state commission of inquiry into the failures of the Lebanon war, received notice of the attack after his speech.
Moyal warned that "if this humiliation of these Qassam rocket attacks does not stop, we will be forced into another war and a need for another commission of inquiry. I want to tell Prime Minister Olmert that we are not crybabies, and despite the darkness we are standing proud."
Head of Sderot's truggle campaign Alon Davidi said in the rally that "we are calling on the government to resign and call on Avigdor Lieberman to stipulate his entry into the government with a large-scale military incursion in Gaza which will bring an end to the Qassam rocket attacks."
