Amnesty condemns Saddam's death verdict

Amnesty International condemned on Sunday an Iraqi court's decision to hand down a death sentence on former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein for crimes against humanity.
Amnesty said Saddam was not granted a fair trial, and expressed it objection to the death penalty including in Saddam's case. (AFP)
