Kodak-Israel moving home
Company to leave behing offices in Herzliya and move to newly-built offices in Petah Tikva
Kodak-Israel is moving from Herzliya to new offices in Petah Tikva, Yedioth Ahronoth has learned.
Kodak, which employs about 1,000 people in Israel, will evacuate six buildings – five rented and one owned - that house it operation in Herzliya and will start operating from the new location as of March 1, 2007.
The new building, which was designed using environment-friendly construction technologies, expands over 25,000 square meters over ground and a similar area under ground, it was reported.
A special design allows natural sunlight to lighten up most of the building and special water purification stations are spread throughout the facility to cut down on water consumption.
The estimated cost of the building is USD 40-50 million.
Kodak opened offices in Israel in 2005 after its acquisition of Creo Inc. for USD 988 million.
Kodak-Israel specializes in developing solutions for the printing industry.
