Lebanon war exhibit to open in US
'Faces of the Conflict-Summer 2006 Lebanon', photographed by Liron Erel, brings images from recent war
The Jewish Federation, with support from 18 other cosponsors, will unveil “Faces of the Conflict-Summer 2006 Lebanon” photo exhibit which goes beyond the headlines of this year's conflict in Lebanon, to reveal the faces and stories of the young Israeli men and women fighting terrorism.

The photographs of First Staff Sergeant Liron Erel will be featured along with the stories of each soldier portrayed.
NH Jewish Federation Executive Director, Adam Solender stated, “All too often we read about soldiers going to battle and see the horrible effects of war. Each of those soldiers has a personal story. I was deeply affected reading each and every word that accompanied the images.”
The program will also feature Eyal Amit, a Junior at Tufts University. Amit was back in Israel during the summer to celebrate his sister’s wedding when the call came to join his reserve unit in Lebanon. He will be sharing his experiences in a presentation titled, “Lessons Learned-From Tufts to Lebanon.
The opening reception will be on Sunday, January 28, 4-6pm at the Jewish Federation of New Hampshire building located at 698 Beech Street, Manchester.
