Iraq: 1 US soldier killed, 4 wounded by EFP in east Baghdad

One US soldier was killed and four others were wounded by a sophisticated roadside bomb in eastern Baghdad, the military said Saturday.

The soldiers were conducting a combat security patrol when they were hit by an explosively-formed projectile - or EFP - on Friday, the military said in a statement. (AP)
