Pull and Bear opening 2 new stores in Israel

Spanish fashion chain to invest NIS 3.5 million in new branches, which will be opened in central city of Givatayim and northern city of Kiryat Bialik

The Spanish fashion chain Pull and Bear is expanding in Israel by opening two new stores. Some NIS 3.5 million (about $849,000) will be invested in the new stores, which will be opened in the central city of Givatayim and the northern city of Kiryat Bialik.

The stores, which will be about 230 square meters (2,475.72 square feet) big, will be designed according to the chain's global design concept.

Pull and Bear currently had 12 stores in Israel.

According to Eli Keidar, the chain's CEO in Israel, Pull and Bear is expanding in light of a rise in sales noted every season.

"We are continuing with the chain's policy to open independent Pull and Bear stories in good locations in shopping malls. Each store will feature fashion collections for women and men," he said.

Pull and Bear entered the Israeli market in 1999 under an exclusive franchise of the Hamashbir Lazarchan chain. In 2003, the chain's operating franchise was handed over to Africa Israel investments.

According to data provided by the company, its sales turnover totals approximately NIS 60 million ($14.5 million) a year. The global chain owns 260 stores in more than 15 countries.
