Matthew Bronfman resigns from IDB Group board of directors

Mathew Bronfman has resigned as a board member of the Israel Discount Bank Group, following a decision that controlling shareholders could not serve on the board. Leonard Grunstein, chairman of the board, refused to resign and was consequently dismissed by the board.
Business publication Crain's New York Business reported that Bronfman's resignation was due to possible financial irregularities. (Avi Shauli)
