Former Pakistani PM arrested at airport

Official Pakistani sources reported that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was arrested upon entrance to the terminal at the Islamabad airport on Monday.

Sharif was returning from exile to lead a campaign to topple the country's US-allied military ruler who ousted him in a military coup eight years ago. (AFP)
