Long-time partnership between two companies comes to an end. Delek to try and reenter gas market independently
The long-time partnership between Yitzhak Tshuva's Delek Israel and the Amisragas Gas Cooperation, owned by the Faradis family, has come to its end, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Monday.
Delek Israel, owner of 39% of Amisragas, has recently sold its holdings in the company to Delek Petroleum for $68 million.
Amisragas' market value following the sale is estimated at $174 million.
Both Delek Israel and Delek Petroleum are part of Tshuva's Delek Group, which is now contemplating its reentry into the gas market.
According to assessments, Delek is to try and build its own gas storage farm in one of the company's holdings in Pi Glilot's petroleum terminals.
