Iranian FM offers Hamas' al-Zahar condolences for son's death

Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki spoke with Hamas' Mahmoud al-Zahar and offered him his condolences on the death of his son in Tuesday's IDF operation in Gaza, the Iranian news agency IRNA reported, Wednesday.

Al-Zahar, lose, said Mottaki, was a "guarantee of victory" for Hamas, adding that the IDF strike was a result of US President George W. Bush's visit to the area and his expresses support for Israel. (Dudi Cohen)
