Russian-Israeli billionaire Arcadi Gaydamak has
signed on to star in a new reality television show in which he will help small businesses increase their profits, according to sources in Keshet, one of the two concessionaires running Channel 2.
The sources were quoted by Israeli daily Yedioth Ahronot as saying that Gaydamak, who has recently announced his intention to run for mayor of Jerusalem in the next municipal elections, will accompany and advise businesses with especially small turnover rates, such as Falafel stands, clothing stores and factories in the periphery, until their profit margin rises significantly.
Several months ago Gaydamak starred in a television commercial for Pelephone, one of Israel’s three mobile service providers.
The reality show is scheduled to air this coming spring. Sources close to Gaydamak confirmed the report.
