Fox to terminate Israeli production line
Clothing giant to shut down Airport City facility in favor of far-east manufacturing. Company says final decision has yet to be made
Fox fashions have decided the terminates its Israeli production line and manufacture its clothing line solely through it far-east factories.
According to the company's Sunday announcement, its facility in Airport City will shut down by the end of July 2008. The facility has not been operating in full capacity for quite some time and has been used an a backup production line, for the company's sub-contractors.
Fox relocated to Airport City in September of 2006. The company also relocated its logistics facilities to Airport City, and unlike the production line, Fox' warehouses are expected to stay operational.
Fox said in a statement that "the company is still looking into various possibilities, and in any case no final decision has been made."
