Taiwan has issued a warning to ships at sea for tropical storm Fung Wong, approaching the island from the east.
The Central Weather Bureau says the storm was located about 403 miles (640 kilometers) east of Taiwan's southern tip as of 2:30 pm (0630 GMT) Saturday. It was packing winds of 108 kilometers (67 miles) per hour. (AP)
