Alon Liel in petition to Bush: Send envoy to Syria talks

Chairman of the Israeli-Syrian Peace Society Dr. Alon Liel handed a petition to a senior official at the US Embassy calling on US President George W. Bush to send an envoy to the peace talks between Israel and Syria.
The petition has been signed by 100 members and supporters of the movement. The embassy said it would transfer the petition to Washington. (Roee Nahmias)
