Light aircraft crash victim named as Doron Amir

One of the three people killed in the light aircraft crash in Haifa on Tuesday afternoon has been named as Doron Amir, a resident of Rosh HaNikra. Amir, a Lt. Col. in the reserves, commanded the navy's submarine fleet. He later served as the army's attaché to Holland and Scandinavia.
Amir is survived by a wife, a son and daughter and five granddaughters. The names of the two other crash victims have yet to be released. (Ahiya Raved)
