Yisrael Beitenu Chairman Avigdor Lieberman announced Sunday that his party was endorsing businessman Nir Barkat for Jerusalem mayor.
Lieberman explained that "the responsibility for Israel's sovereignty in Jerusalem is on us. Jerusalem under Nir Barkat's leadership has a chance to make a real change of direction for the long run." (Attila Somfalvi)
