Tamir: Teachers' Association head threatened to destroy me

Education Minster Yuli Tamir said that Ran Erez, head of the Teachers' Association, has threatened to destroy her politically.
At a press conference held in Tel Aviv, the minister said that Erez called officials in her office and "threatened that if I do not give in to his demands – the destruction of the 'Ofek Hadash' reform - he would destroy me politically and that what he did to (former Education Minister) Limor Livnat was just the beginning". Tamir added, "This is an ugly, inappropriate act of extortion, certainly not coming from a man of education. An end should be put to this here and now." (Yaheli Moran Zelikovich)
