The Haifa District Court sentenced 20-year-old Tamir Ben-Simon to three-and-a-half years in prison for setting fire to a sukkah near a synagogue, destroying holy books and spray painting satanic graffiti.
Judge Ron Shapira said it appeared the acts committed were not racially motivated, but were the result of drug abuse. (Ahiya Raved)
